I guess somebody forgot to mail Buzz his check this month. I guess that they feel like they don't need ole Buzzer anymore now that the battle has moved to Congress.
BTW- Former congressman Bud Cramer-D is still getting his regular payments from SpaceX to lobby for the commercial option. The city of Huntsville is paying him as well and he says SpaceX will put a lions share of any new work falling out of the Obama plan there. It looks like the Space Coast is going to get screwed no matter what.

Reclaim the night sky. End light pollution NOW!
Yes, maybe he will describe it as refined? His plan preserves support for manned vehicle development by commercial but adds a near time heavy lift ability using existing infrastructure, technologies and workforce. As the Obama plan stands currently, heavy lift is out there sometime, somehow.
The good thing about Buzz piping in is that he gets attention for the subject.
Any attention is good at this point. Those with knowledge can read between the lines as to what is really going on.
Buzz is in favor of SpaceX, which to me, skews an objective opinion by him, but having this discussion is good. It's long overdue.
Are you still thinking of heading to the Space Coast in May? We both look forward to it.![]()

Hi Rick, yes that's the plan. It would seem the chance that 132 actually gets off around the 14th will depend on how 131 pans out, right? And, even if it does, there was still talk of slipping 132 due to schedule crunch. Oh well, I am pretty limited on getting time off, so will watch and hope. I do look forward to catching up to talk space options over a beer.......might even ask Charlie Bolden if I get the opportunity!
Cheers, Peter
